Teeming with wild salmon and an abundance of other freshwater species, the Kanektok River in Southwestern Alaska is a haven for anglers looking to test their skills against some of the most sought-after fish in North America.

Now Booking Kanektok Dates Summer 2024 & 2025!

All dates are for 6 guests maximum. Our permit only allows 6 people per trip, and the start date listed is the day guests fly to the put-in and begin their trip for 7 days and six nights. We provide the bush flights to the put-in as well as the flights back to Bethel from the take-out. The trip cost covers these flights and the guided fishing but does not provide commercial flights to and from Bethel, AK. Guests are required to have a valid Alaska sport fishing license, and gratuity for the guides is typically 10-15% of the total trip cost.

​Things that the trip cost does not include: the commercial flights to and from Alaska, the fishing license, gratuity, the first-night stay in Bethel (our float plane service provides a bed at a pro-rated cost) gratuity for the bush pilot, any food costs while traveling.

The biggest reason we are booking two years out in advance is due to over 85% return rate. Most of our trips re-book the same date for the next availability literally at the end of their trip. We have a 50% deposit policy for all trips.

We offer 100 miles of pristine river to float for you and your group only – with Permit Only and Float Plane Only access you can expect days of floating with no one else around. We fish out of custom rafts with custom frames with anchors affording our clients with the most efficient fishing platform out there.

You can expect to see all 5 species of Pacific Salmon including King Salmon, Pink Salmon, Red Salmon, Chum Salmon, and Silver Salmon. Our participants often catch Arctic Grayling, Lake Trout, Dolly Varden, Arctic Char, and trophy Rainbow Trout.

What gear do I need for my Alaska Float Fishing Trip?

Use our Alaska Float Trip Gear List made with our 6-night, 7-day trips in mind. We will supply you with all the gear such as your pole and flies to fish with, along with luxurious meals. You ensure you bring comfortable rain gear, waders, a sleeping bag, synthetic clothing, and toiletries.

What is not included in the cost to book an Alaska Fishing Trip?

Commercial flights to and from Alaska, your Alaskan fishing license, gratuity for your guide, first-night stay in Bethel (our float plane service provides a bed at a pro-rated cost), gratuity for the bush pilot, and any food costs while traveling are not included with your costs to book our Alaska Fly Fishing Trips.

Yes. All guests on our Alaskan fishing trips are required to have a valid Alaska Sport Fishing License.

How much should I tip my guide for a Fly-In Alaskan Fly Fishing Trip?

Gratuity for the fly fishing guides on our Fly-In Alaska Fly Fishing Trips is typically 10-15% of the total trip cost. Don’t forget to tip your Bush Plane Pilot and that cash is preferred too!
